Prior to joining the Post Oak Middle School Team, I served as principal of Ni River Middle School. I also served as a principal and assistant principal in Caroline County, Virginia and taught for nine years in Stafford County, Virginia. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Master’s Degree from the University of Mary Washington and completed coursework as a newly appointed administrator at Virginia Tech. My family and I have lived in Virginia for the past seventeen years. My wife is in education and two of my three children are Spotsylvania County Public School students.

I obtained my teaching license through the Spotsylvania County Schools Career Switcher Program and completed my Masters in Educational Leadership through Mary Washington University.
