Damian Solorzano has served on the CSRC Board of Directors for the last three years as director at large and most currently as the Metro Chapter President. He has chaired the membership committee promoting AARC membership throughout the state. He has also assisted in the growth and management of the CSRC social media sites and shown his dedication to the CSRC by his attendance and participation in nearly all CSRC sponsored events during his time on the Board of Directors. He has close to 20 years of experience in all aspects of Respiratory Therapy including ICU, NICU, Pediatrics and Home Care with additional industry experience in Disease Management, Clinical Applications and Medical Sales. He is currently employed as a Regional Respiratory Specialist with Philips~Respironics.

She has been a respiratory therapist for over twenty-nine years. She has been involved with the CSRC for the past ten years with roles including: Director at Large and Metro chapter President. She was on the Position Statement Committee for the American Association for Respiratory Care. With this skill set and expertise, she will be able to communicate and represent what is important to the CSRC and its members at the American Association for Respiratory Care Forums. Kari is seeking re-election to a second term as Delegate. She has been involved with the CSRC board in various positions over the past 12 years, including President and currently Webmaster and Program Co-Chair.

In her current term as Delegate, Kari has represented Colorado at the AARC House of Delegates by serving on four house committees, co-chairing two house committees, and as Secretary of the House for one term. If re-elected, she will be seeking a third nomination to be Colorado's first Speaker of the House or AARC Board Member. Kari is also a member of the AARC's membership committee and was most recently awarded as an AARC Fellow for her continued efforts with the CSRC and AARC. Kari's current position as Clinical Specialist with Bunnell allows her great flexibility to be a very active Delegate to represent Colorado effectively. She knew that she had a desire to go into health care, but it was through providence she went to into Respiratory Therapy.

She first went to Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs where she learned to run the floors and jumped into adult ICU and cardiac post-op. She worked agency in Portland and all along the Oregon coast. She enjoys working in all kinds of different settings and was surprised to find the confidence to work as a sole therapist in rural hospitals. She learning to adapt quickly and enjoyed the challenges of learning new hospital systems. She now works at Littleton Adventist hospital. She has continued to grow by also working in hyperbarics and completing her Bachelors degree. She has recently joined the CSRC Program Committee and is helping to plan the annual respiratory conference.
