Complaints about the product being runny, especially on vertical surfaces, is unfortunate. It is a liquid and needs to be handled carefully for a proper repair. The pointed cap is helpful in opening the tube, but the tube should be held gently or else the force applied while holding it will make the fluid ooze out.

Got the best result in applying the super glue by using an artist's fine tipped paint brush; other products that have a built-in brush in the cap I have found useless because the brushes holds too much product and the brushes are too large for small, delicate applications. The fine tipped paint brush is ideal for applying very small amounts of products to very small areas. As the product instructions recommend, applying small amounts in thin coats is best, particularly for vertical surfaces (which was the case for me). As such, there were no runs or drips at all. For deep chips, several thin coats worked best. I used a fresh razor blade to gently 'trim' the dried super glue (after 24 hours) to evenly match the surrounding porcelian surface around the chipped area. Being aggressive with the razor will ruin the result.
